School buses have been cancelled in Middesex and Oxford counties as cooler weather brings freezing rain and flurries into the region for a chilly start to the Family Day long weekend.

Environment Canada is forecasting freezing drizzle this morning, with periods of light snow turning to light flurries this afternoon. The temperature is expected to fall to -5 this afternoon, with the wind chill making it feel like -12.
There's also a chance of flurries early this evening, but the sun is expected to come out on Saturday and Sunday, at least for a little bit. Saturday is expected to have a high of -2 but a wind chill of -13 in the morning.
On Sunday, expect a high of 4 degrees with a mix of sun and cloud. Monday's forecast is calling for a mix flurries and rain showers, with a high of 1 degree.
