India Today
Interacting with the students yesterday, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that we are moving towards normalcy as schools across India are going completely offline.
On Friday, the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, addressed the students before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's interaction with them during 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'. During the education minister's interaction, he said that school bells have started ringing once again, reflecting a move towards normalcy after prolonged closures due to Covid-19.
Across the country, schools were closed amid the Covid-19 pandemic to contain the spread of it. In several states, schools were reopened briefly before the second wave. And after the second wave, some schools were reopened again with a hybrid model. For a certain period, this hybrid model, online and offline classes, became the preferred approach for many.
Now, from April 2022, schools in the majority of the states are going completely offline.
On Friday, PM Modi asked the students to not get stressed for the upcoming exams as they have successfully overcome exams earlier as well. Further, the prime minister also asked parents and teachers not to impose their unfullfilled dreams and aspiration on children.
The PM advised students to keep online learning as a sort of "reward" after studying offline or use it to supplement the offline notes they received from their teachers. He also suggested using mobile tools to discipline oneself and keep track of how long students were using apps other than for studying. He also asked students to spend some time daily connecting with themselves and introspecting.
