The Supreme Court Bar Association has asked Medanta Hospital to set up a Covid care facility in the unused lawyers' chamber block on the Supreme Court premises.
The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has approached Medanta Hospital for assistance in setting up a Covid care facility in the unused lawyers’ chambers on the Supreme Court premises. Earlier, the SCBA had made an offer to the Delhi government to take over the entire building to set up a Covid care centre. However, the government said it did not have the necessary manpower or equipment to set it up, according to SCBA President Vikas Singh. Singh told India Today that Delhi government officials had inspected the chamber block and recommended that the second floor, which has around 40 rooms with air conditioning, proper ventilation and toilets, be converted into a Covid care facility.More Related News
