
SC disposes of plea filed against Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu alleging funds misuse

The Supreme Court disposed of a plea filed against Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu that alleged he misused funds allotted to various departments in his government.
A plea filed in the Supreme Court by Arunachal Justice Forum seeking a probe against Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his government for their involvement in alleged misused funds granted to various departments has been disposed of by the court.
“Having heard learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners, learned senior counsel appearing for the state of Arunachal Pradesh and carefully perusing the material available on record, we find that the main relief and the interim relief prayed for are one and the same and as such, there is no need to pass any interim order in the said application at this stage. In view of the above, the said application stands disposed of,” the court said in its order passed on Tuesday.
