The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed the Maharashtra government's plea challenging the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe against former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. A Bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and MR Shah was hearing a plea challenging the Bombay High Court order allowing the CBI to investigate the matters related to former Home Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh.
