Saudi Arabia to offer Houthis new ceasefire
Fox News
Saudi Arabia will offer a new ceasefire agreement to Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen, according to two senior Saudi officials.
"If the Houthis look at the package, it's more than we are coming to a ceasefire. It's going to lead to a political solution in Yemen," a senior Saudi coalition official said in response to a question from Fox News. "This is the most important thing, and this is the core of the initiative." Saudia Arabia, the internationally recognized Yemeni government and Houthi rebels have participated in five ceasefires since 2016, though Saudi coalition leadership views this time as different given heavy losses suffered by the Houthis.More Related News
