Saskatoon driver dies in collision with stone wall in residential neighbourhood

A 36-year-old Saskatoon man is dead after a crash early Sunday in the Stonebridge neighbourhood.
Police said in a news release that the collision happened around 4:30 a.m. CST on Jan. 12. The driver, who was alone in the car, crashed into a stone wall at Preston Avenue South and Stonebridge Common.
"Inside, officers located an injured male, the single lone occupant of the vehicle. Lifesaving measures were attempted by police and paramedics but the 36-year-old male succumbed to his injuries," police said.
The police collision analyst unit is continuing its investigation.
