She revealed that her longest relationship lasted for seven years and ended because of differences between Trishala and her ex-boyfriend. She also said that she had been cheated on. Through a series of Instagram stories, she tried educating people about infidelity. Trishala Dutt, who is a psychotherapist, took to her Instagram stories to answer certain questions to educate people about infidelity. When one of her followers asked her about her longest relationship and the reason it ended, she wrote, "7 Years. I won’t go into the major details on why it ended. Let’s just say we mutually parted ways. He was ready for a life that I wasn’t, and we had many, many differences that accumulated over the years (sic).”
