Sanjay Dutt reveals KGF Chapter 2 made him realise cinema is a product of passion. Read note

Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Adheera in Yash’s KGF Chapter 2. The actor penned a heartfelt note about how special director Prashanth Neel’s film is to him.

Sanjay Dutt went all out to play the antagonistic role of Adheera in Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2. The film has turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters. Sanjay took to Instagram to pen a note of gratitude to director Prashanth Neel and everyone who has supported him.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 is witnessing phenomenal success at the box office. Sanjay Dutt, who plays Adheera in the film, wrote a thank you note to the director and revealed why the action thriller is special to him.

The note read, “There will always be some films which will be more special than the others. Every once in a while, I seek out a film which pushes me out of my comfort zone. KGF: Chapter 2 was that film for me. It reminded me of my own potential and something about it felt like, I could have fun with it. This film made me realise why cinema, at the end of the day, is a product of passion. Prashanth Neel, my director, had sold the vision of the menacing ‘Adheera’ to me. The credit for how my role turned out, goes entirely to Prashanth. As the captain of the ship, it’s his dream we all brought to screen (sic).”

Sanjay further added, “This film will always be a reminder that every time life pops a surprise, you have it in you to do better than that. Lots of love to my fans, family and well-wishers. They have all been my pillars of strength (sic).”

KGF: Chapter 2 also stars Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Anant Nag, Achyuth Kumar and Eswari Rao.
