Samsung has announced as many as seven new laptops in India. The company has launched a budget Galaxy Book Go laptop that falls under the Rs 40,000 price segment.
Samsung is all set to host a new Galaxy event later today and ahead of the launch, the company has announced as many as seven laptops in India. These include Samsung Galaxy Book 2, Galaxy Book 2 Pro, Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, Galaxy Book 2, Galaxy Book 2 360, and Galaxy Book 2 Business. These offer the latest 12th generation Intel core processors and will be on sale at different price points. The company also announced the Samsung budget Galaxy Book Go laptop that falls under the Rs 40,000 price segment. All the devices ship with the latest Windows 11 OS out of the box. The new Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 is priced at Rs 1,15,990, while the Galaxy Book 2 Pro will cost Rs 1,06,990. The Galaxy Book 2 360 will be sold for Rs 99,990, whereas the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 will be on sale for Rs 65,990. The price of Galaxy Book 2 Business starts at Rs 1,04,990 in India. The cheaper Galaxy Book Go is priced at Rs 38,990. Interested buyers can pre-book the new laptops via the official site of Samsung.
As for the offers, the company will be giving an instant cashback of Rs 5,000. Buyers will also get the Galaxy Buds Pro earphones at a discounted price of Rs 999, down from its original retail price of Rs 9,490. These offers are valid on the purchase of the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, Galaxy Book 2 360 or Galaxy Book Go. If you pre-book the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, Galaxy Book 2 360, and Galaxy Book Go, then you will be able to buy the 24-inch monitor at Rs 2,999, instead of its original price of Rs 12,449.
The newly launched Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book 2 Pro come with 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch displays. The Galaxy Book 2 360, on the other hand, is available only with a 13.3-inch screen option. As mentioned above, they are being offered with Windows 11 and 12th Gen Intel Core processors.
Samsung is claiming that users will get up to 21 hours of battery life with the new Galaxy Book 2 models. The devices have a USB Type-C port, which means that one won’t be required to carry a separate charger for the laptop. Samsung has even added a Galaxy Book Smart Switch feature to make it easier for users to transfer files from old devices.
These devices even have a 1080p webcam with a wide field-of-view for video calls. In addition to this, Samsung claims that these laptops are equipped with an artificial intelligence-backed noise-cancelling feature that will help cut out the ambient noise. The Galaxy Book 2 series also packs an AKG-tuned audio system and has support for Dolby Atmos.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business laptop will ship with Windows 11 and a 14-inch display screen. It has a Tamper Alert feature, which the company says can prevent the device from cyber threats. This one too is powered by a new 12th Gen Intel Core processor. One will also find features like auto framing and background effects on this laptop, apart from a phone pairing feature that allows users to send texts and attend calls using both laptop and phone.
