The event will kick off today at 12:00PM and interested users will be able to watch the Samsung Galaxy M33 event via the company’s official YouTube channel. As Amazon has already published a dedicated page for the product, it is pretty clear that the handset will be up for sale via this e-commerce site. The Amazon listing has confirmed some of the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G. It sports a quad-camera setup at the back and a 6,000mAh battery under the hood. There is also support for 25W fast charging. The listing reveals that the retail box will lack a charger. This won’t be the first time that Samsung will not offer a charger along with the phone. The company recently launched a few Galaxy A series phones that also don't ship with a charger.
The teasers have also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy M33 has a 120Hz display, which runs at Full HD+ resolution. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device features a waterdrop-style notched display design and a headphone jack at the bottom. The listing claims that this Galaxy M series phone has a Power Cool tech for better heat dissipation.
It even comes with a RAM Plus feature, so one will be able to extend RAM by up to 16GB using the phone’s internal storage. The device will be offered in two configurations, including 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. The rest of the details are still officially under wraps. But, we do know the possible specs, considering the device has already been launched in Europe.
The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G ships with a 6.6-inch LCD panel and Samsung’s Exynos 1280 SoC, which is also powering the recently launched Galaxy A 53 smartphone. In terms of optics, there is a quad rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. For selfies, you will find a single 8-megapixel camera on the front. It is running on the latest Android 12 OS out of the box.
