Samsung Galaxy F23 5G goes on sale for the first time in India today. The smartphone is available for purchase on Flipkart, Samsung’s online store, and offline stores around the country starting at 12PM IST. In India, the Galaxy F23 5G starts at Rs 15,999 and goes up to Rs 16,999 for the top-end model.
As a part of the launch offer, Flipkart offers a flat Rs 1,000 instant discount to customers who purchase the Samsung device using their ICICI credit card. Additionally, the e-commerce giant has partnered with the State Bank of India (SBI) to offer a 10 percent instant discount, up to Rs 750.
The Galaxy F23 5G comes in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at Rs 15,999 and 4GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage at Rs 16,999. Bank offers cut the price of the Samsung smartphone to as low as Rs 14,999. It must be noted that customers will not be able to merge two bank offers, which means buyers can either opt for the SBI or ICICI bank offer.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 successor offers impressive specifications for the price point. The smartphone comes packed with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U display with support for a 120hz screen refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It supports dual-SIM support.
Under the hood, the Galaxy F23 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with expandable storage support of up to 1TB via a microSD card. It also comes with support for 6GB virtual RAM to boost performance further. On the software front, the smartphone runs on the Android 12 operating system with One UI 4.1 custom skin on top.
In terms of camera specifications, the Galaxy F23 includes a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone packs an 8-megapixel camera sensor.
The Galaxy F23 comes bundled with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It also includes Adaptive Power Saving technology, which the company claims enhances battery efficiency by a large margin.
