Samantha took a break from her social media detox to drop the release date of the teaser of Yashoda. The film is helmed by director-duo Hari and Harish.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi, Samantha took to social media to share an exciting update regarding her upcoming film, Yashoda. The actress is currently on a social media break. However, she made an exception for this film as she shared a new poster of Yashoda with the teaser release date. According to the poster, Yashoda's teaser will be unveiled next week.

Samantha was last seen in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The actress essayed the role of feisty Khatija and won laurels for her performance.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi, Samantha shared a new poster of Yashoda. She also announced that the film's teaser would release on September 9 at 5.49 pm. She captioned the post, "The indomitable will !! #YashodaTeaser on Sep 9th @ 5:49PM (sic)."

Yashoda is helmed by director duo Hari and Harish. Apart from Samantha, the film also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj in crucial roles. Music director Mani Sharma, cinematographer M Sukumar and editor Marthand K Venkatesh are part of the technical crew. The film will release in theatres on Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
