Salman Khan is presently shooting for Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather. However, the actor threatened to walk out of the film a few days ago.
Salman Khan recently joined Megastar Chiranjeevi in Hyderabad for the shooting of director Mohan Raja's Godfather. He plays a cameo role in the film. Recently, he threatened to walk out of Godfather. The makers of the film decided to offer a whopping Rs 20 crore as remuneration for Salman Khan. But, the Radhe actor declined the offer and threatened to walk out of the film.
On March 16, Megastar Chiranjeevi welcomed Salman Khan onboard his upcoming film Godfather. The two stars have been shooting their portions currently in Hyderabad. Godfather is an official Telugu remake of the Malayalam film, Lucifer, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
During the shooting of Godfather, the makers offered Rs 20 crore for Salman Khan's cameo in the film. However, the actor declined the offer. When the makers insisted again, he threatened to walk out. Reportedly, he asked Chiranjeevi if he would take any remuneration if he were to play a cameo in his film. Salman Khan has decided to act in this film without any salary.
Chiranjeevi and the team of Godfather were left speechless after hearing Salman Khan's decision. Salman and Chiranjeevi share a special bond and they have been close friends for several years.
Godfather is an action entertainer directed by Mohan Raja of Thani Oruvan fame. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, the film features Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in pivotal roles. Reportedly, Salman has a 20-minute role in the film.
