Salman Khan is providing food packets to Covid-19 frontline workers in Mumbai during the 15-day janta curfew. Last year, in the early months of the lockdown, the actor’s food trucks distributed food packets to the underprivileged on Mumbai roads. This time around, the Being Haangryy trucks started distributing meals among the frontline warriors working in the areas of Juhu and Worli in Mumbai. Reviving his last year's initiative of providing food items to the underprivileged, Salman Khan is now distributing food packets to frontline workers this year. Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal, who is coordinating the endeavour with the actor, told Mid-Day that the superstar sprang into action as soon as the state government imposed a junta curfew from April 15. Kanal said, "Salman expressed his concern for the police officers, BMC staff and health workers on duty. Given their long work hours, he wondered how they would procure essentials since most shops are shut and the grocery stores are functioning in the stipulated four-hour window. Within 24 hours of our conversation, our food trucks hit the road."More Related News
