For the past few days, there have been speculations about Ram Charan’s cameo in dad Chiranjeevi’s GodFather. In case you’ve been wondering too, we bring good news! Salman Khan, who plays a brief cameo in GodFather, has just confirmed the speculations.
Ram Charan will indeed be a part of GodFather and not just morally. The actor plays a cameo in his father, Chiranjeevi’s film and we are too excited! At a press conference in Mumbai, Salman shared how Ram came on board. He said, “He came to see me and he said 'I want to do this.' I said no-no. He said I want to be with you in the same frame. I thought he was just kidding. I said we will talk about this tomorrow. Tomorrow he got his van, he got his costume. He was there before us. So I asked what are you doing? He said I just want to be here.” Salman then told him that he wanted Ram to be there but also asked him if it was really okay for him to be there? But by then, Ram was already in the picture!
Ram Charan’s name has been mentioned in Oscars 2023 prediction list for RRR. Chiranjeevi is super-proud of his son and said, “It is a really proud moment for me. I am very happy. This is what I was expressing that these kinds of days should come. It is not because of Charan only, it is a collective effort.” Crediting director SS Rajamouli, Chiranjeevi said, “He has tried to hit the bull's eye and get the attention.”
