
Salman Khan and the Khan family attend ‘Sikandar’ special screening; release date, runtime out

Bollywood star Salman Khan, along with his actor-brother Arbaaz Khan and their father, legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, attended a special screening of Sikandar, Salman’s upcoming release, in Mumbai on Wednesday (March 19). This comes just as the makers of the film, directed by AR Murugadoss, announced that the film will be released on March 30 on the occasion of Eid, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi.
The screening was held at Excel Entertainment’s office in Khar, Mumbai. According to reports, Arbaaz’s wife Sshura Khan; Arhaan Khan, son of Arbaaz and Malaika Arora; Aayush Sharma and his wife Arpita Khan Sharma; and Alvira Khan Agnihotri with her husband Atul Agnihotri and their kids Alizeh and Ayaan, also attended the screening. Producer Nikhil Dwivedi was also seen at the screening.
The film’s director, Murugadoss, also attended the screening. Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Murugadoss revealed the runtime of his action entertainer. “The first half of Sikandar is around 1 hour and 15 minutes and the second half is about 1 hour and 5 minutes. The overall run time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes,” he said.
Earlier this week, the makers of Sikandar released the first single, ‘Sikandar Naache,’ to much fanfare. The song, featuring Salman along with the female lead Rashmika Mandanna, has garnered more than 36 million views on YouTube as of now. The energetic dance track is composed by JAM8 and Siddhant Miishhraa.
Featuring Sathyaraj as the antagonist, Sikandar also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. Sajid Nadiadwala produced the film.
