Sakshi Malik and V team ready to settle dispute but can't decide settlement amount

Actress Sakshi Malik and the team of V agreed to settle the dispute over illicit use of her photo. However, they cannot decide on the settlement amount.

Actress Sakshi Malik filed a petition against the makers of V over the illicit use of her image in the film. V, directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, released on Amazon Prime Video in September 2020. The Court had asked Sakshi Malik and V team to decide n the settlement amount. Sakshi Malik and the makers of the film 'V' have had discussions over the last few weeks but despite this, the two parties could not come to a conclusion about the settlement amount that the filmmakers will have to shell out. Advocates Alankar Kirpekar and Saveena T Bedi representing Malik proposed two options that Malik and the filmmakers had come up with to the Bombay High Court. Justice G S Patel looked at both these amounts and said, "The difference is not very much at all; the gap can be quite easily bridged."
