Varun-Ganapathy combine also makes the grade for Tokyo
The pair of Varun Thakkar and K.C. Ganapathy, along with Vishnu Saravanan, qualified for Tokyo Olympics in the 49er and laser standard classes respectively from the Asian Olympic sailing qualifiers that concluded here on Thursday. Vishnu did exceedingly well by finishing first in the final medal race and second overall behind Singapore’s Ryan Lo Jun Han. The Varun-Ganapathy duo, which had to finish in the top six in the medal race to make the grade, did so by finishing fourth and first overall.More Related News
