“There are some advantages of being ambidextrous because you can use both your hands,” Sachin Tendulkar said in the beginning of the video.
While a majority of the population is right-handed, some people in the world use their left hand to do things. However, have you met or seen anyone with the ability to use both their hands for day-to-day tasks? Well, such people are called ambidextrous and ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is among the rare ones. On Thursday, Sachin took to Instagram to post a video of himself eating food using both his hands and it has gone viral online.
“There are some advantages of being ambidextrous because you can use both your hands,” he said in the beginning of the video. While Sachin is a right-handed batsman, he uses his left hand to write and also eats with a fork and knife. But to eat with chopticks, he uses his right hand. “When it comes to fork and knife, I eat with my left hand. But, when it comes to chopsticks, I get confused. I write with my left hand but something just doesn’t work right in my brain. I don’t know what that is. So I eat with my right hand,” he said. “Complicated person,” he added at the end.
“The left hand manages all the writing and eating while the right hand handles all the wooden sticks,” Sachin captioned the video, giving a nod to his batting style.
