Sachin did this for 100th hundred: Virat Kohli questioned on strike rate despite hitting first 50 in IPL 2022

Virat Kohli brought a stop to his horror patch of form by hitting his maiden half century in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. While social media largely hailed the former RCB captain, some were not impressed.
Former Royal Challengers captain Virat Kohli brought an end to his horror patch of form by scoring a gutsy fifty against Gujarat Titans on Saturday, 30 April. This was Kohli's 43rd fifty in the Indian Premier League and his first in the current edition of the cash-rich league.
After losing Faf du Plessis early in the game, Kohli and youngster Rajat Patidar took on the responsibility to revive the innings and ended up putting together a 99-run partnership. Patidar was the dominant force in the partnership, scoring 52 off just 32 balls. While Patidar brought on his maiden IPL fifty, an under-confident Kohli took time to build back his confidence and scored a 45-ball half century.
Fans hailed Kohli for getting back in form after going through one of his worst patches in his career. However, some were not impressed with the strike from the senior pro.
Several social media users called Kohli out for his sluggish 110 SR innings. Some even compared this one to Sachin's 100th hundred against Bangladesh, which still remains to be a blot on his career.
SRT at least did this for his 100th 100. Kohli doing it in a random IPL game. And people applauding *this* knock. Lol.
