Saadi rides Joomana to victory in France

Le Lion d’Angers, France: Two-year-old filly Joomana carried the colours of H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani to victory when taking the Prix Chateauneuf sur Sarthe at Le Lion d’Angers, France yesterday.  

Trained by Henri-Alex Pantall, Joomana built on two-placed efforts at Deauville and Croan respectively, and scored a game victory, on her third start, under jockey Soufiane Saadi.  Breaking alertly from the stalls, Saadi settled Joomana just behind the early leaders through the early stages of the 1,400m contest.
