Rahane and Pujara scored quick half centuries in a 111-run stand that was crucial to India crossing the 200-run mark in the second innings in the second Test.
Their stand was crucial in India setting a target of 240 runs but they ended up losing the match by seven wickets with Proteas captain Dean Elgar anchoring a remarkable chase.
