Rythu Bharosa Kendras a role model for other states, says AP Governor Harichandan

Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan said the government's Rythu Bharosa Kendra scheme is a role model for other states to achieve farmer welfare.
Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan appreciated the single-window services provided by the Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBK) to the farmers and said the RBKs are a role model for other states.
On Thursday, Poonam Malakondaiah, Special Chief Secretary of Agriculture, met Governor Harichandan and submitted a report on the establishment of the Rythu Bharosa Kendras and the services offered to farmers. The RBKs help farmers get certified pesticides, fertilisers, and animal feed.

Governor Harichandan said he would visit one of the Kendras very soon and suggested that the RBKs should also explain to the farmers the benefits of organic farming and encourage them to take up organic farming.
RBKs are digital kiosks for farmers to know real-time market price and to place orders. RBKs also sells products tested, packed, and graded by the government.
