Ryan Reynolds shared a flyer of an Indian restaurant in the UK on his Instagram stories. The restaurant's name is Light of India and it is located in the Cheshire town of Ellesmere Port.
Indian cuisine is super delectable and diverse and this fact is known by a majority of people all across the world. From the iconic butter chicken and different variations of paneer to masala dosa and pav bhaji, desi food is the stuff of dreams. Even Ryan Reynolds thinks so. How do we know, you ask? Well, the actor took to his Instagram stories to share a flyer of an Indian restaurant in the UK. Reynolds called the food from the restaurant the best in Europe too.
Ryan Reynolds posted a flyer of the restaurant called Light of India. The eatery that opened in 1980 is located in the Cheshire town of Ellesmere Port and has been run by the Rahamanfamily for generations, as per a report in the Guardian. Reynolds has been spending time in the UK, having taken over the ownership of Welsh football club Wrexham AFC with fellow actor Rob McElhenney. It is not clear if the actor dined or ordered takeaway from the restaurant, which is about 32 km north of Wrexham, a car journey of 30 minutes, the Guardian report said.
The owners, Rajia Rahaman, 49, and Rahaman Batan, 51, were on weekend duty but didn't recognise Reynolds. “The first we knew anything about it was when Ryan posted his review. We asked my parents if he had been in but they didn’t even know who he was. We showed them a picture and they couldn’t remember seeing him. So it may be that he or a member of his team ordered and collected a takeaway," the couple's 28-year-old son Rahaman quoted to the Guardian.
Rahaman also wants to get in touch with the actor and name a dish in honor of him, like the "Deadpool Masala".
