Russian poet Artyom Kamardin was sentenced to 7 years in prison on Thursday for reciting anti-war verses against Russia's actions in Ukraine, officials say.
Yegor Shtovba, who participated in the event and recited Kamardin's verses, was sentenced to 5 1/2 years on the same charges.
