Russia invades Ukraine: As of Monday, February 28, a total of 67 Indian students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, who were stuck in Ukraine, were rescued and returned to their respective states via Delhi.
As of Monday morning, February 28, a total of 67 Indian students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, who were stranded in Ukraine, have been rescued and returned home.
Among the 67 students, 17 students belong to Andhra Pradesh, while 50 are from Telangana. C.Tejaswini, Kohima Vaishali and Surya Sai were brought to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh from Ukraine via Delhi. The information was confirmed by the Tahsildar of Gajuwaka area in Visakhapatnam.
The 17 Andhra Pradesh students reached Delhi on Sunday and Monday, February 27 and 28 respectively.
