Russia-Ukraine War News Updates: Indian embassy in Ukraine has advised Indian nationals in the country to leave Kyiv, preferably by "available trains or through any other means available".
As the Russian offensive in Ukraine entered its sixth day, the Embassy of India in Kyiv issued an advisory asking all Indian nationals, including students, to leave the capital city urgently by today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the government has been working tirelessly to bring back all Indians stuck in Ukraine, the majority of whom are students.
With the Ukrainian airspace being closed for civil aircraft operations, the Indian evacuation flights are operating out of the Romanian capital, Bucharest, and the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
MEA spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, in a press conference in New Delhi said that six flights have already brought back nearly 1,400 Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine as part of 'Operation Ganga'.
He also added that about 8,000 Indian nationals have left Ukraine since the Indian Embassy in Kyiv first issued an advisory.
