Russia-Ukraine war: Bengal CM Mamata writes to PM Modi, seeks all-party meeting

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has assured her support to PM Narendra Modi in dealing with the Russia-Ukraine crisis and sought to know if he would convene an all-party meeting on the matter.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Russia-Ukraine crisis and assured unconditional support.
She also asked the PM to consider convening an all-party meeting.

"I would request you to accept my unconditional support during the ongoing international crisis and [wish to know] whether you would like to have an all-party meeting now for consolidating our national resolve to come out of the crisis with our head held high," Mamata Banerjee wrote in her letter.
"As the largest democracy on the planet, India must take lead to offer a peaceful solution to the world, and we must offer it, undaunted and unhesitant," she added.
