Russia is testing whether dogs can fly out of a plane with a parachute in areas where it is not possible for helicopters or planes to land. Footages from the first test landing are going crazy viral on social media. Technodinamika, a part of the Rostec State Corporation, has developed parachutes that can drop a person along with a service dog in places where landing a plane or helicopter is not an option. Technodinamika said on Tuesday that it was in the final stages of testing this newly-developed device. Footage broadcast on state media showed a German Shephard diving from a plane flying at a height of 13,000 feet. "Four-legged law enforcement officers are often involved in military and rescue operations, but sometimes it takes too long to reach the destination on foot and it’s impossible to land by helicopter or plane,” the company said in a press release.More Related News
