Russia has reached out to a number of allies across Asia and Asia Minor to bolster its weapons and munitions amid the conflict in Ukraine as both sides burn through their supplies.

Putin this month hosted North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to discuss a potential arms deal, though neither leader signed any formal agreement by the end of the six-day trip.
