Rural schools closed and some bus routes cancelled in Thunder Bay, Ont., as city gets ready for storm

Rural schools are closed Wednesday in Thunder Bay, Ont., and all rural school bus routes are cancelled for the day as much of the northwest region prepares for yet another spring snowstorm.
Environment Canada has issued multiple weather alerts for the northwest, including snowfall warnings for Thunder Bay, Atikokan, northshore, and Greenstone areas. Snowfall is expected to begin this morning and continue through to Thursday.
The weather agency is forecasting 20 to 30 centimetres of snow, and possibly more over higher terrain west of Thunder Bay.
