The team of RRR comprising director SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan took part in the Green India Challenge in Hyderabad. While touring the country as a part of the RRR promotional spree, the stars said that the greenery program is very close to their hearts. Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar, who planted saplings along with the RRR cast, thanked the team for participating in the Green India Challenge despite their busy schedules.
RRR is scheduled to release on March 25, worldwide. The film team is touring across the country as a part of RRR’s release campaign. Today, March 23, SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan were in Hyderabad as they took the Green India Challenge, along with MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar. They planted seedlings in Hyderabad’s Gachibowli area.

Taking up the Green India Challenge, RRR director SS Rajamouli said that whenever possible, they will participate in the greenery enhancement programme along with their crew. He also recalled the Baahubali team participating in the Green India Challenge.
Jr NTR shared that everyone should be aware of the changes in the environment. He further added that everyone should educate themselves about increasing greenery and strive towards the protection of nature. Ram Charan mentioned that he had previously participated in the Green India Challenge and was very excited about the idea of planting saplings. The actor also expressed his happiness upon participating in the plantation drive prior to RRR’s release. The RRR team lauded MP Santosh Kumar for instilling a spirit of expanding greenery across the country with the goal of social good.
