Karan Johar got 'goosebumps' after he saw a viral video of crowd cheering for SS Rajamouli in LA after watching RRR. The film released on March 24, 2022.
RRR released on March 24 and went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters this year. The film, which worked wonders at the national box office, was recently screened at the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles as a part of the Beyond Fest. After several videos of people waiting in queue to watch the film went viral, Karan Johar reposted a video from the theatre where maker SS Rajamouli received a standing ovation after RRR was screened. He shared that the video gave him ‘goosebumps’.
SS Rajamouli’s RRR was a blockbuster success. The film starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn had pivotal roles in the project. RRR was recently screened at Chinese Theatre, LA, as a part of the Beyond Fest. Post the film’s screening, Rajamouli entered the theatre as everyone cheered for him and also gave him a standing ovation. Karan Johar took to Twitter and reposted the video. Sharing the same, he wrote, “I had goosebumps watching this the genius SS RAJAMOULLI @ssrajamouli (sic)."
