RRR box office collection Day 6: Jr NTR, Ram Charan film destroys records, zooms past Rs 600 crore

Director SS Rajamouli's RRR has shattered several box office records in its opening week. The film shows no signs of slowing down.

Director SS Rajamouli's RRR zoomed past Rs 600 crore worldwide and is on its way to shattering more box office records. The film managed to collect over Rs 50 crore on its sixth day of its theatrical run. RRR also raked in over $10 million (Rs 75 crore approx) USD in North America and is now in fifth position. Soon, the film is expected to cross PK, Dangal and Padmavat's collection in North America.

Director SS Rajamouli is dominating the box office ever since it hit the theatres on March 25. The film was supposed to release in theatres across the globe in 2020. However, the novel coronavirus pandemic played spoilsport in director SS Rajamouli's plans.

RRR has surpassed the Rs 600 crore-mark at the box office worldwide and is still going strong. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan wrote, "#RRRMovie WW Box Office. ENTERS Rs 600 cr club in just 5 days. Day 1 - Rs 257.15 cr. Day 2 - Rs 114.38 cr. Day 3 - Rs 118.63 cr. Day 4 - Rs 72.80 cr. Day 5 - Rs 58.46 cr. Total - Rs 621.42 cr (sic)." On its sixth day, RRR earned over Rs 50 crore.
