RRR box office collection Day 15: Jr NTR, Ram Charan film earns Rs 969 crore worldwide

Director SS Rajamouli's RRR recently crossed another milestone by entering Rs 950-crore club in two weeks. The war drama has now earned Rs 969.24 crore worldwide.
SS Rajamouli's directorial venture, RRR, is doing extremely well at the box office. In just two weeks of its release, the film managed to hit the Rs 950-crore club worlwide. On Day 15, the total box office collection stood at Rs 969 crore. Now, RRR is just a couple of days away from breaching the Rs 1000 crore-mark worldwide. Starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the film is performing exceptionally well at the box office and still has a week of uninterrupted run.
RRR, which was made on a huge budget, hit the theatres on March 25 in record number of screens across the globe. It is an epic war drama set in the pre-Independence era. RRR has been on a record-breaking spree ever since it released. According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the film has now collected Rs 969 crore at the box office worldwide in 15 days. The film will soon reach Rs 1000 crore-mark and set new records in the history of Indian cinema.

Director SS Rajamouli's RRR has story written by his dad, Vijayendra Prasad. Jr NTR and Ram Charan essayed the roles of freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju, respectively. The film is made on a huge budget of Rs 450 crore by DVV Danayya. Within two weeks, the film entered the profit zone and made the entire team taste success.
