RRR actor Ram Charan calls Yash a sensation, says he outdid himself in KGF Chapter 2

At KGF: Chapter 2 trailer launch, Ram Charan praised Yash. Prithviraj Sukumaran lauded director Prashanth Neel’s vision for cinema.

The makers of KGF: Chapter 2 unveiled the official trailer of their much-awaited film on March 27, at a mega event in Bangalore. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj, among others. KGF 2 trailer launch event was a star-studded affair, with the entire cast and crew in attendance. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar hosted the show.

KGF: Chapter 2 trailer was launched in four different languages. The Telugu trailer was launched and presented by RRR actor Ram Charan. He heaped praise on Yash through a video message, where he said, "Yash, you are a sensation! I'm very proud of you. You have outdone yourself. Yash believed in Prashanth [director Prashanth Neel] more than Prashanth did in himself. All your hard work is why Kannada cinema is reaching such heights." Ram Charan further added, "I'm a big fan of KGF and super excited to see Sanjay Dutt."

Prithviraj Sukumaran presented KGF: Chapter 2 trailer in Malayalam and said that he feels privileged. Taking the stage, Prithviraj shared, "The privilege is all mine that I get the opportunity to present the film in Kerala. KGF is one such film that levels across the country and might just represent a giant mainstream film. But for a regional language cinema, for Tamil, Telugu, especially for us, for Malayalam, in terms of volume, we being the smallest of the industries, KGF and Baahubali represent much more than pieces of cinema. I always say that Baahubali 1 and 2 taught us to dream. And KGF 1 and 2, taught us to believe in the dream.”

Praising KGF director Prashanth Neel and Baahubali, RRR director SS Rajamouli, Prithviraj said, "What we have achieved, I guess will only be seen in its true magnitude, maybe 10-15 years down the line. I've been lucky to have had many conversations with Prashanth regarding the vision for cinema. And I can tell you that KGF and KGF 2 are just the beginning of a great-great journey. Down the line somewhere in time, if all the industries of our country eventually amalgamate into what we all hope will be one big Indian film industry, I can assure you that SS Rajamouli and Prashanth will be two distinct chapters."

KGF 2 is all set to hit the screens on April 14. The film is one of the most anticipated films of 2022. KGF 1 was a box-office blockbuster. It had released in 2018.
