Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal became only the 6th bowler in the history of Indian Premier League to complete 150 wickets when he picked up a 4-wicket haul to help Rajasthan Royals beat Lucknow Super Giants in a last-over thriller in Mumbai on Sunday.
Yuzvendra Chahal is only 4th Indian bowler to achieve the milestone. He is also the 2nd fastest after Lasith Malinga to get to the landmark. The leg-spinner got there in his 118th IPL match, his 4th for new franchise Rajasthan Royals.

It was a memorable outing for Yuzvendra Chahal, who also won the Purple Cap on Sunday, taking his tally to 11 wickets, one more than Umesh Yadav's count. Chahal had taken the bulk of his wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore for whom he played from 2014 to 2021 before being released by the former finalists. Chahal has been terrific for the Royals so far in IPL 2022 as Sanju Samson's men are on top of the points table after 4 games.
