Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal were at the helm for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League as they came up trumps against Kolkata Knight Riders in a see-sawing game at the Brabourne Stadium on Monday, 19 April.
Buttler’s second century in the current edition of the league, and Chahal’s first ever hat-trick paved the path for Rajasthan’s crucial win in their sixth group stage match in the league, propelling them to the second position in the league table.

The match had several hilarious moments, and the duo of Jos Buttler and Yuzi Chahal created one more after they caught up for IPL TV after the game.
Jokes flew around left, right and centre as Chahal began by asking Jos if he was batting well only because Chahal was in line for the opener’s job.
“Absolutely. Your pressure is pushing me on in training and in matches. But no, I’m obviously delighted to score the century. I thought it was a brilliant game of cricket swinging to and fro with us,” replied Buttler while laughing at Chahal’s joke.
The interview continued with Buttler asking how he was feeling after the hat-trick.
