Royale Pass seasons for Battlegrounds Mobile and PUBG Mobile may be different

Krafton's PUBG Mobile is coming back to India with pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India starting on May 18.

Battlegrounds Mobile India will arrive on Google Play Store for pre-orders on May 18. Now, the release date for the Indian version of PUBG Mobile is not available yet, but we are hearing something new every day about the battle royale game. According to an Indian YouTuber, the Battlegrounds Mobile India game will get its first Royale Pass season on the very first day, and that these seasons will be different from the PUBG Mobile Royale Passes. Luv Sharma, who goes by his alias GodNixon on YouTube, has posted a video in which he has claimed that players will get to see “the new season and Royale Pass on the same day of the game’s release.” And this Royale Pass season will be different from what PUBG Mobile has going on. Right now, PUBG Mobile players are seeing the beginning of Season 19, but for Battlegrounds Mobile India, it is going to be Season 1. However, specifics regarding all of the collectibles and items that will be available in the Indian version are not known right now. It makes sense to have a different Royale Pass season for Battlegrounds Mobile because Krafton, the company behind the PUBG IP, does not want any linkage to PUBG Mobile. A gaming content creator was recently told off by Krafton not to use the words “PUBG Mobile” in any of the videos or the content. Krafton is possibly moving ahead with caution because PUBG Mobile is a banned entity. Krafton does not need the government’s permission for Battlegrounds Mobile India but for PUBG Mobile.
