The Guinness World Records (GWR) has recognised Romeo, a 6-year-old Holstein Steer, as the world's tallest. Romeo, who lives in an animal sanctuary in Oregon, stands at a height of 6 feet 4.5 inches. As per GWR, the 6-year-old steer has surpassed the previous record holder Tommy by more than 3 inches. Notably, "steer" refers to bull claves that have been neutered and primarily raised for beef in countries like the US. Despite his huge demeanour, Romeo has been described as a "gentle giant" and a "big softie" by his owner, Misty Moore.
