Role of youth crucial in realising PM’s vision of ‘developed India’

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse has said that the youth of the country had a great role to play in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by the year 2047 through their active contribution.

Speaking at the Rozgar Mela held at Deshpande Foundation Auditorium on BVB College Campus in Hubballi on Saturday, the Minister urged the youth to work towards realising the dream of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) after securing employment.
She said 2047 marked a century of India’s independence, and in order to realise the dream of it being a developed nation as per the vision of the PM, the youth must contribute actively.
Ms Raksha said rozgar melas were being held twice a year and appointment orders were being issued. She called on the youth to take full advantage of these opportunities.
On the occasion, the Union Minister handed over appointment letters to over 50 candidates for positions in various departments, including the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), Central University, India Post, Railways, Income Tax Department, and the Insurance Department.
MLAs Arvind Bellad and Mahesh Tenginakai, Income Tax Commissioner Shishir Damija and other officials were present.
Later, speaking to presspersons, Ms. Khadse claimed that the NDA government had given more government jobs compared to the UPA government in its 10 years of administration. She also said that the NDA government had also generated direct and indirect employment through various programmes including Make in India, Mudra Yojna, start-ups and more.

On December 23, the newly elected office bearers of the Anna Nagar Towers Club, led by its president ‘Purasai’ B. Ranganathan, who is a former MLA, met with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin and conveyed their greetings. According to a press release, besides, ‘Purasai’ B. Ranganathan, the Anna Nagar Towers Club delegation that met Stalin at Anna Arivalayam, the DMK Party headquarters, included vice-president R. Sivakumar, secretary R. Muralibabu, joint secretary D. Manojkumar, treasurer K. Jayachandran and executive committee members N. D. Avinash, K. Kumar, N. R. Madhurakavi, K. Mohan, U. Niranjan, S. Parthasarathi, K. Rajasekar, S. Rajasekar, M. S. Ramesh, R. Satheesh, N. C. Venkatesan and K. Yuvaraj. Karthik Mohan, deputy secretary of DMK’s Information Technology Wing, was present on the occasion.
