Road Safety Wold Series: India Legends in final after Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh fireworks in Raipur

India Legends on Wednesday defeated West Indies by 12 runs to enter into the final of Road Safety World Series in Raipur. The match saw some great fireworks from the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Yuvraj Singh.

India Legends qualified for the final of Road Safety World Series after defeating West Indies Legends by 12 runs in a thrilling encounter in Raipur on Wednesday. The match went down the wire, courtesy the terrific innings from Dwayne Smith, Narsingh Deonarine and Brian Lara. Chasing a 219-run target, West Indies lost William Perkins early in the 2nd over but Smith (63 off 36) and Deonarine (59 off 44) partnered for 99 runs to take team's total to 118/1 inside 11 overs. West Indies Legends were running away with the match but a combined effort by Pathan brothers to dismiss Smith brought India Legends in the match. Irfan Pathan who leaked 19 runs in the first over avenged himself after his elder brother took Smith's catch off his bowling. Kirk Edwards, the next man in, departed for a duck before another 80-run partnership was forged between captain Brian Lara and Deonarine. Brian Lara turned back clock to smash 46 off 28. His stylish innings included 4 fours and 2 sixes.
