Road closure at Al Markhiya

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a six-hour closure over two nights for Al Markhiya Street in both directions from Dahl Al Hamam Intersection to Makkah Street along with Umm Lekhba Interchange Underpass while traffic will be diverted onto local roads. Closure will be implemented in two phases – Friday (April 30) from (2am-10am), on Saturday (May 1) from 2am-8am, on May 7 (from 2am-10am) and on May 8 (from 2am-8am). Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requests all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
