Ritu Khanduri becomes first woman speaker of Uttarakhand Assembly

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated Ritu Khanduri on being elected unopposed as the first woman speaker of the Uttarakhand Assembly.

BJP MLA Ritu Khanduri, the daughter of former chief minister BC Khanduri, was elected unopposed as the first woman speaker of the Uttarakhand Assembly on Saturday.

Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated Ritu Khaduri. He wrote on Twitter, "Hearties congratulations and best wishes to Ritu Khanduri ji on being elected Speaker of the Uttarakhand Assembly unopposed."
