This year, the filmmaker made sure he had an unforgettable birthday, by opting for a quick getaway to a luxury resort in Rajasthan. Thankfully, Karan Boolani and Rhea Kapoor have taken us along with them through regular social media updates. Pictures revealed that in addition to the regular birthday dinners and pool parties, the power couple also chose to spend their time indulging in some exciting activities and what can beat the thrill of visiting an ancient haunted fort? Karan Boolani shared a photo from Bhangarh fort, where the motley crew chose to have “high tea”.

Karan Boolani shared an album from the spooky fort. The first slide shows the majestic fort, followed by images of the desolate structure. In the last pic, you can also spot Rhea Kapoor as well as designer Masaba Gupta, who has accompanied the couple on their vacation. Sharing the images, Karan Boolani wrote, “Bhangarh fort in Rajasthan is known to be one of the most haunted places in India. Visitors claim to hear screams from inside the fort…. We had high tea there.” Reacting to the post, Masaba Gupta said, “Content is the new oil.”

Rhea Kapoor, too, shared pictures from Bhangarh fort. In one of the frames, Karan Boolani can be seen taking pictures of the fort. “High tea in the ruins; and back to perfect golden dusk,” was her caption.
