Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed their baby boy earlier this month. They arrived home with him on August 26 and Rhea already has a sweet nickname for him.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed their baby boy just recently. On August 26, the couple arrived home with the baby for the first time. Rhea Kapoor captured the momentous moments on video and the happiness on their faces is quite visible. The family even performed prayers before the couple entered the house with the baby boy. While the celebrations were on, we also saw the cute nickname Rhea gave to the baby boy. It is Simba.

In videos shared on Instagram, the house is seen decorated with yellow and blue balloons. There are also banners with 'welcome home' written on them with 'Baby Kapoor Ahuja' text added. Accentuating the decor was the use of floral essence. Sharing these, Rhea wrote, ‘welcome home our Simba’. Check out the video:

Meanwhile, as the baby arrived home, Anil Kapoor and Anand distributed sweets to the media and staff members. Sonam will reportedly speak about her experience being a first-time parent in a magazine interview soon. “Priorities do change and I think that the child will become mine. The truth of the matter is that they didn’t choose to come into this world. You decided to bring them here, so it’s a very selfish decision," Sonam said while speaking about embracing motherhood.

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor has been on a break from work after the release of AK vs AK in which she played a brief role. Before that, she was seen on The Zoya Factor. She will next be seen in the crime thriller film Blind which will arrive on OTT. She recently appeared in Koffee With Karan with Arjun Kapoor.
