Sources in the NIA now confirm that the suspended Mumbai Police officer was carrying five bags full of cash on the day of the incident. Vaze, who is in NIA custody, is the prime suspect in the Antilia bomb scare case and the death of Thane-based car dealer Mansukh Hiren. India Today had reported earlier that Sachin Vaze was seen checking into a five-star hotel in south Mumbai on February 16 of this year.
