
Retail inflation eases to 4.29% in April; March IIP grows 22.4%

Retail inflation in April has eased to 4.29 per cent after rising to a four-month high in March. The factory output for March has grown 22.4 per cent.
India retail inflation, measuredly the Consumer Price Index (CPI), fell to 4.29 per cent in April 2021 from 5.52 per cent in March, according to official data released by the government. A Reuters poll of 50 economists had recently predicted the retail inflation in April to fall to a three-month low of 4.20 per cent.More Related News
