North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) said on Wednesday that restaurants and shops in North Delhi will now have to "mandatorily" display whether the meat being sold or served is halal or jhatka. The order came as the BJP-led NDMC on Tuesday cleared a proposal in this regard. The proposal was lately moved by the Standing Committee of the NDMC. North Delhi Mayor Jai Prakash said the House "cleared the proposal in its meeting today". Jai Prakash said, "Restaurants and shops in north Delhi will now have to mandatorily display whether the meat being sold or served is halal or jhatka."More Related News
